Creating a studio-style maternity shoot in a small space

As a maternity Photography that comes to your home to do many of my photo shoots, quite a few of my clients worry that there won't be enough space when they are looking for more studio-style photos.

We had minimal space for this session, with my background stand positioned between a doorway and down the side of a sofa and then I had some room at the back of the sofa to place myself and a light... we even had a second light set up for a few of the shots.

For most of the photos we were working with either a plain white or black background. For the above image we used a really beautiful digital backdrop that I edited in after the photo shoot.
