Excited Big Brother For Newborn Baby Photo Shoot - Earlsfield

I had recently photographed the maternity session for this lovely family. Their newborn baby boy had now arrived and I came to their home in Earlsfield to get some photos of the baby and family.

They wanted to capture some similar photos to the ones we had taken with their toddler when he was a newborn a couple of years ago and also some natural, family photos.

When doing a newborn shoot with a toddler, I try to do the photos with the toddler first, as their interest can suddenly go. On this occasion the toddler was having none of it and wasn't interested in playing any part in the photo shoot. So we cracked off with some mother and baby photos in a bedroom.

As the toddler seemed most relaxed in the sitting room, we decided to move into there and just watched to see how he responded with no pressure to do anything. It didn't take long before he came in to play with his baby brother and we could really see how excited and happy he was. We photographed a lovely set of photos of the family together just enjoying this special time. Yes, there may have been clutter around, but this does not distract in anyway from these precious family moments.
