Flowers & Bows For Newborn Baby Girl - Kensington

I had done the maternity shoot a few weeks earlier for this family. Their baby girl had now arrived and she slept beautifully throughout the session. Her parents wanted to capture some classic, posed newborn photos of their baby and we started with her in a bucket filled with pink fluff.

We then moved her onto a bed, where she lay on a simple blanket (see photo at the top of this blog post). We did a couple of varieties of this scene and we were also able to capture some close up details of hands, feet and face.

It was also a great time to get some family photos as she lay sleeping.

Ever popular - baby in a basket - with a delicate floral headband.

We also captured some dramatic images using a dark background.

We finished with some natural baby photography with this little girl dressed in a simple wool outfit.
