Maternity Photo Shoot In The Snow - Wandsworth Common

As you can see from the title of this blog, I am somewhat behind with my photo blog! Now that the sun is shining, that harsh late winter seems a long time ago.

The weather forecast for this maternity shoot was not good - with blizzards and a wind chill of -10 degrees. This lovely couple had very much wanted outdoor photos for the photo shoot. I chatted to them on the phone early in the morning and we agree to go for it.

We met just by the beautiful Wandsworth Common and I planned a route that would hopefully keep us out of the worst of the bitter winds. The common looked stunning. The pond was frozen over and covered by snow and made for a completely magical background to this maternity photo shoot. We got so many wonderful photos that you can so rarely capture here in London making this a really memorable session.
