Maternity Photo Shoot - Southbank, London
Matt and Margaret were expecting their little baby. When they first moved to London they had lived just by the Southbank, so they were mentioned the idea of doing the maternity photo shoot around the area as this would be particularly special to them - a great idea.
The weather forecast was not great, but when we met first thing in the morning, the grey clouds were only gathering overhead.
We started the session by the London Eye, a great little spot to get some photos.
There is a surprising amount of greenery along the Southbank, to give a good variety of pregnancy photos.
We then walked along the Thames and under Westminster Bridge, where there are great views over The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, and also classic riverside benches to pose on.
Even the gardens at the hospital where their little baby would be born was another photo opportunity before we made our way towards St James' Park. The heavens then opened. We continued to take photos in the shelter of the trees until the rain came down too hard and even the umbrella barely protected them from the downpour.
