Newborn Baby Photo Shoot - Streatham

Kirsty contacted me when her newborn boy, Jack, was 9 days old. We managed to organise a newborn photography session for when he was 3 weeks old. She wanted to get a range of natural photos of her new baby and a few photos against a plain, black background.

It was a couple of weeks before Christmas (yes, I'm still running behind on my blog!) and he started the session with Jack simply in his mummy's arms and moved him onto a footrest in front of the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree.

He was such a gorgeous, little bundle with his soft, spikey hair.

At the same time we were able to get some close up details of his hands and feet.

I then set up the black background in their kitchen.

Before we then when back to the sitting room to get some more photos of Jack as he went back to sleep.
